Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and coordination to ensure construction projects are completed on time and within the approved schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project schedules, work programs, and project timelines.

Prepare baseline schedules, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and progress reports.

Monitor project progress against planned schedules and identify delays or potential risks.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and other departments.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.

Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.

Track manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources required for project execution.

Review construction drawings, project specifications, and contract requirements to support planning activities.

Assist in preparing delay analysis, extension of time (EOT) claims, and schedule updates when required.

Ensure project activities comply with approved schedules, contractual requirements, and company procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry.

Experience in preparing and monitoring construction project schedules.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.

Good knowledge of construction methods, project controls, and progress reporting.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple project activities and meet deadlines.

Candidates with experience in high-rise buildings and large villa projects will be preferred.

Must be currently available in Bahrain and able to join immediately.
