Description

We are currently hiring a QC Lead/ QA Lead for one of the reputed companies in Bahrain.

The candidates who are currently residing in Bahrain preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Documentation & Approvals: Prepare and obtain approval for the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Welder Qualification Tests (WQT), WPS/PQR, and method statements.

• Inspection & Monitoring: Develop project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and continuously monitor their implementation on-site.

• Audits & Reporting: Schedule and conduct quality audits, prepare comprehensive QC audit reports, and manage the NCR and CAPA closure processes.

• Team Management: Manage, schedule, and mentor a multidisciplinary team of QC Inspectors.

• Client Interface: Act as the primary liaison for client quality representatives and third-party inspection agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in Engineering with 7–10 years of QA/QC experience in major construction or heavy engineering projects.

• Certifications (Mandatory/Highly Preferred):
• Welding: CSWIP 3.2.2 or AWS SCWI (Senior Certified Welding Inspector).
• NDT: ASNT Level II / ISO 9712 in RT, UT, PT, and MT.
• Coating/Painting: NACE Level II or BGAS-CSWIP Painting.
• Quality Auditing: ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor (IRCA registered) mandatory; Internal Auditor certification also highly preferable.
