Description

A leading retail chain is looking for a well experienced Senior Accountant for its FMCG division.

Main Responsibilities
• Managing bank accounts and reconciliation
• Cash Collection and Deposit
• Prepare and maintain all balance sheet account reconciliations
• Monitors and analyze monthly operating results against budget.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting documents
• Management Reporting-MIS, Costing, Bank Reconciliation, Payable, Receivable Etc.
• Shipping arrangement for foreign purchase
• Purchase Coordinator F&B Division (Foreign and Local)
• Product Costing of foreign items purchases
• VAT return filing, documentation
• Government Levy return filing, documentation
• Day to Day Operations Management, coordination with restaurants
• Receivable follow up and tracking.
• Working and review of Cost of sales on monthly basis,
• Budgeting and forecasting based on previous data analysis.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly estimate & final accounts with proper account
Schedule reports as all part of MIS requirements.
• Monthly Prepare Supplier/Customer reconciliation and Accounts Schedules
• Arrange payments on Supplier dues and ensure that all payment related transactions are posted in the system on timely basis
• Arrange payments on priority basis/utilities as paid on time so as to avoid disconnection
• Year End Closing Activities for Audit, lead in and liaise with the external audit team
• Periodic inventory/stock count
