Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and organized Storekeeper – Construction to manage and maintain the company's construction materials, tools, equipment, and inventory at the project site or warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and record incoming construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Issue materials and supplies to site engineers, supervisors, and workers as per approved requests.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock registers.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement department for material replenishment.

Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of construction materials.

Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory counts.

Prepare material receiving reports, delivery notes, and stock movement records.

Monitor damaged, missing, or expired materials and report discrepancies.

Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and site teams to ensure timely material availability.

Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the warehouse or storage area.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Storekeeper in construction projects is mandatory.

Knowledge of construction materials, tools, equipment, and inventory management.

Familiarity with stock control procedures and inventory documentation.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

Good organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple stock requests.
