Job Summary

ERA Projects is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to operate and maintain heavy machinery at construction sites in Bahrain. The ideal candidate must have previous construction industry experience, follow site safety procedures, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment.

Candidates must be locally available in Bahrain and ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy construction equipment safely and efficiently at project sites.

Handle equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, bulldozers, backhoes, rollers, and other machinery, depending on assigned duties.

Perform daily inspections of equipment before and after operation.

Check fuel, oil, hydraulic systems, tires, tracks, and other essential components.

Assist with excavation, earthmoving, leveling, loading, unloading, and other construction activities.

Follow site instructions, construction plans, and safety regulations.

Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.

Report equipment defects, mechanical issues, and maintenance requirements promptly.

Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure proper operating conditions.

Comply with all applicable construction site safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

Previous experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in the construction industry is required.

Must be currently residing in Bahrain.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Valid and appropriate driving or equipment operating licence/certification, where applicable.

Practical knowledge of heavy machinery operation and basic equipment inspections.

Familiarity with construction site safety procedures.

Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with the site team.

Physically fit and capable of working in a construction site environment.

Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.

Preferred Experience

Experience operating heavy equipment on construction projects, including buildings, villas, infrastructure, or other civil works.

Ability to operate more than one type of construction machine is an advantage.
