About the role

We are a Bahrain-based design-build construction and fitout company working on commercial, government and residential projects. We're hiring a hands-on Civil Engineer to run both structural and fitout works on site.

Responsibilities

Structural & civil

Supervise excavation, foundations, slabs, beams, columns and steel structures.
Inspect formwork, reinforcement and concrete pours, and arrange testing.
Manage structural alterations to existing buildings, including openings, lintels and extensions.
Oversee blockwork, plaster and external works.

Fitout

Supervise fitout works from strip-out to handover, covering partitions, ceilings, flooring, finishes, joinery and glazing.
Coordinate fitout sequencing with MEP services.
Check finishes against drawings and specifications, and manage snagging.

General

Lead in-house crews and coordinate subcontractors.
Set out works from drawings and check levels, alignment and quality.
Track progress against the programme and report weekly.
Carry out site measurements for valuations and variations.
Enforce site health and safety.
Requirements
BSc in Civil Engineering.
At least 2 years of site experience in Bahrain or the GCC, covering both structural and fitout works.
Registered with, or eligible for registration with, CRPEP.
Able to read structural and architectural drawings, with working AutoCAD skills.
Comfortable with BOQs and site measurement.
Valid Bahrain driving licence.
English required; Arabic is a plus.
