Job Summary

ERA Projects is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Site Surveyor to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting accurate site surveys, setting out construction works, checking levels and coordinates, and ensuring all site activities are carried out according to approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site surveys, measurements, leveling, and setting-out activities.

Establish and maintain benchmarks, grid lines, control points, and reference coordinates.

Perform setting out for foundations, columns, walls, slabs, and other construction elements.

Operate surveying equipment, including Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and related instruments.

Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings.

Verify dimensions, elevations, alignments, and coordinates against approved drawings.

Monitor construction works to ensure accurate positioning and compliance with required tolerances.

Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built survey data.

Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors.

Identify discrepancies between site conditions and approved drawings and report them promptly.

Maintain accurate survey records and ensure surveying equipment is properly maintained.

Follow project quality standards, site procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction site surveying.

Hands-on experience with Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/GNSS, and other surveying instruments.

Strong knowledge of setting out, leveling, benchmarks, coordinates, and site measurements.

Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing software is an advantage.

Experience in villa, residential, commercial, high-rise, or civil construction projects is preferred.

Bahrain or GCC construction experience is an advantage.

Must be currently available in Bahrain and able to join immediately.

Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and coordination skills.
