Description

Key Responsibilities:

Review IFC drawings and identify discrepancies prior to execution.
Prepare and submit material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and authority requirements (EWA, Municipality, Civil Defence).
Coordinate design changes and resolve technical issues with consultants.
Supervise site installation works for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings and programme.
Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
Coordinate with procurement for timely material delivery.
Work closely with electrical and civil teams to avoid clashes.
Participate in coordination meetings with client and consultant.
Assist in preparation and review of coordination drawings.
Supervise testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems.
Ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained.
Coordinate inspections with relevant authorities.
Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and safety standards.
Prepare and review ITPs, method statements, and risk assessments.
Close NCRs and implement corrective actions.
Assist in preparation of variation claims and supporting documents.
Track delays, especially related to approvals and materials.
Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 5–8 years of MEP experience.
Strong knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Experience with authority approvals in Bahrain is an advantage.
Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit/BIM is a plus).
