Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team at our cafeteria located in a petrol station. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh cakes, pastries, and snack items for customers while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of cakes, pastries, and desserts for daily sale.
Produce fresh snacks and baked items suitable for quick-service customers.
Ensure all products are fresh, visually appealing, and consistent in quality.
Manage ingredient preparation and maintain proper stock levels.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen/workstation.
Support the development of new menu items suitable for a caf? environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker.
Ability to prepare cakes, desserts, and light baked snacks.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Creativity and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work shift schedules.

Preferred:

Experience working in caf?s, bakeries, or quick-service outlets.
Basic knowledge of menu costing and inventory control.
