Reports To: Farm Manager / Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Farm Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling farm materials and supplies, including feed, tools, equipment, medicines, and spare parts. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper storage conditions, and timely availability of items to support farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies to ensure quantity and quality compliance.
Maintain proper storage of farm items such as animal feed, veterinary supplies, fertilizers, tools, and spare parts.
Issue materials to authorized personnel against approved requests.
Maintain accurate stock records, bin cards, and inventory registers (manual or system-based).
Conduct regular stock counts and report shortages, damages, or expired items.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO methods are followed, especially for feed and medicines.
Monitor stock levels and inform management of reorder requirements.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the store area.
Coordinate with suppliers, procurement, and farm management for deliveries.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and biosecurity standards.
Prepare inventory reports as required by management.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Previous experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a farm, agricultural, or livestock environment.
Basic knowledge of inventory control and documentation.
Ability to use basic computer applications (Excel, inventory systems).
Good organizational and record‑keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and under supervision.
Physically fit to handle farm materials when required.
Working Conditions
Farm‑based work environment.
May involve handling animal feed, equipment, and agricultural supplies.
Working hours as per farm operational requirements.
