Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer – Construction to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing interior design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring that interior works are executed according to approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and space planning for residential and commercial construction projects.
Prepare detailed interior design drawings, shop drawings, elevations, sections, and finishing details.
Review architectural drawings and coordinate interior design requirements with architectural, structural, and MEP teams.
Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and interior elements.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure proper execution of interior works.
Conduct regular site visits and monitor interior works against approved drawings and specifications.
Review material samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements.
Identify design discrepancies and coordinate necessary revisions with the project team.
Assist with material selection, quantity requirements, and cost considerations.
Ensure all interior works meet quality, safety, and project standards.
Prepare presentations, mood boards, and design proposals when required.
Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, material approvals, and site instructions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Interior Designer, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and construction methods.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant interior design software.
Knowledge of 3D visualization software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar is an advantage.
Good understanding of construction detailing and site execution.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with site and project teams.
Experience in Bahrain is preferred.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner preferred.
