We are looking for a highly skilled Automobile Mechanic with specialized knowledge in German vehicles (e.g., BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche) and advanced expertise in automotive electrical systems. The ideal candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain German cars, focusing on both mechanical and electrical components, to ensure optimal vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities


Diagnosis and Repair: Accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in German vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.

Specialized Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on German cars, including engine, transmission, suspension, and braking systems.

Electrical Expertise: Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, sensors, control modules, infotainment systems, and hybrid/electric vehicle components.

Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and industry standards for safety and performance.

Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and service history for each vehicle.
Tool and Equipment Management: Utilize and maintain specialized tools and diagnostic equipment for German vehicles.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in German automotive technology and electrical systems through continuous learning and training.

Qualifications

Experience:


Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automobile mechanic, with at least 3 years specializing in German vehicles (BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, etc.).
Proven expertise in automotive electrical systems, including diagnostics and repairs of wiring, sensors, and electronic control units.



Certifications:

ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification in relevant areas (e.g., Engine Repair, Electrical Systems) preferred.
Manufacturer-specific certifications for German brands (e.g., BMW Certified Technician, Mercedes-Benz System Technician) are a plus.

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of German vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical architecture)
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools (e.g., ISTA, VCDS, Star Diagnosis) for German cars.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.


Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or associate degree in automotive technology preferred.


Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy parts and tools, stand for extended periods, and work in various positions (e.g., under vehicles).


Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with hybrid or electric vehicle systems, particularly in German brands.
Familiarity with the latest German automotive technologies, such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and connected car systems.
Ability to train or mentor junior technicians.
