Description

 Develop and implement lifting procedures and safety protocols.
 Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
 Plan and coordinate all lifting operations with all Projects / Facilities team in Bahrain or Overseas.
 Manage and supervise crane operators and rigging team.
 Maintain and inspect lifting equipment and lifting gears regularly.
 Coordinate with Project managers, Safety team and Client representatives.
 Prepare and review lifting plans and method statements.
 Carry out Risk Assessments.
 Ensure all lifting equipment and gears are certified and in good working condition.
 Oversee training and certification of lifting and rigging team.
 Monitor lifting activities to ensure adherence to approved procedures.
 Manage procurement and inventory of lifting equipment and accessories.
 Manage recruitment of crane operators and rigging team as required.
 Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance and trainings.
 Allocate resources effectively to meet project timelines.
 Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks with the team.
 Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements
 Participate incidents or accidents investigations related to lifting operations
 Promote a Safety focused culture within the department.
 Use STOP Work authority where lifting operations assessed as unsafe.
