📢 WE ARE HIRING – PROJECT ACCOUNTANT

A well-established Contracting Company in Bahrain is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our finance team.

🔹 Position: Project Accountant

📍 Location: Bahrain
🏗️ Industry: Contracting / Construction

🔹 Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong experience in Contracting / Construction companies
• Hands-on experience in Project Accounting and Project Cost Control
• Good knowledge of WIP, project costing and cost-to-complete
• Experience in progress billing, retention, variation orders and subcontractor accounting
• Strong understanding of AP, AR, GL and project-related transactions
• Experience in budget vs. actual analysis and project profitability
• Knowledge of VAT and financial reporting
• Good Excel and ERP/accounting software skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Candidates currently in Bahrain will be preferred.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project financial performance
• Review project costs, commitments and actual expenditure
• Prepare project-wise financial reports and profitability analysis
• Monitor WIP, billing, collections and retention
• Coordinate with Project Managers, QS, Procurement and Finance teams
• Review subcontractor accounts and project-related payments
• Assist with monthly closing and management reporting
• Identify cost variances and support corrective actions

💼 Experience in contracting/project-based accounting is essential.
