Job Vacancy: Accountant

Location: Askar, Bahrain

Atlas Aluminum is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily financial accounting transactions and bookkeeping.

Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Prepare monthly financial reports and account reconciliations.

Handle VAT accounting in accordance with Bahrain VAT regulations.

Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure compliance with National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) requirements.

Reconcile input VAT and output VAT accounts.

Manage customer and supplier invoices and payments.

Use Zoho Books and Focus ERP for accounting entries, invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Good knowledge of financial accounting and bookkeeping.

Practical knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations and compliance.

Familiarity with Zoho Books accounting software and Focus ERP.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
