Job Overview
This position is skill based.
Works in the carpentry department and performs task as per project requirement and as per instruction from Manager or Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

CARPENTER
• Follow blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare and determine dimensions and materials required to meet the needs of clients.
• Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Follows established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
• Builds or repairs cabinets, doors, frameworks, wooden fixtures
• Assembles and fastens materials to make frameworks or props, using hand tools and wood screws, nails, dowel pins, or glue.
• Removes damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.

PAINTER
• Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint.
• Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces.
• Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
• Choosing and purchasing paint, brushes, and other supplies from vendors.
