Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and organized Assistant Production Manager to support the daily operations of our carpentry and joinery production facility. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in woodwork, joinery, furniture manufacturing, production planning, and workshop supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Production Manager in overseeing daily carpentry and joinery workshop operations.

Coordinate production schedules, manpower allocation, and workflow to ensure timely project completion.

Supervise carpenters, joiners, technicians, and workshop workers.

Monitor production quality and ensure all products meet approved drawings and specifications.

Coordinate material requirements, inventory, and procurement with relevant departments.

Review technical drawings, cutting lists, and material specifications.

Monitor production progress and identify operational issues or delays.

Ensure proper utilization of materials, equipment, and manpower to minimize wastage.

Maintain workplace safety, housekeeping, and compliance with company procedures.

Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and other departments regarding production requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Previous experience in carpentry, joinery, furniture manufacturing, or woodwork production is required.

Experience in workshop supervision, production coordination, and manpower management.

Good knowledge of woodworking machinery, materials, tools, and finishing processes.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.

Must be currently available in Bahrain.

Immediate joiners are preferred.
