Description

Responsibilities :

Meet with clients to understand project goals, design preferences, lifestyle needs, and functional requirements for interior environments.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure interior layouts align with overall building design, functionality, and technical constraints.
Analyze space planning, circulation flow, and user interaction to create efficient and well-balanced interior layouts.
Prepare design concepts, mood boards, and visual presentations that communicate the proposed creative direction.
Guide clients in selecting finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements that align with approved design concepts.
Use industry-standard design software to produce detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and comprehensive design proposals.
Develop project schedules and cost estimates, presenting clear budgets and timelines for client approval.
Procure and coordinate materials, furnishings, and finishes in accordance with approved designs and budget limitations.
Oversee on-site installation of interior finishes, furniture, and design components to ensure adherence to approved plans.
Conduct project close-out site visits with clients, address feedback, and ensure resolution of any remaining items.
Keep informed of current and emerging interior design trends, materials, technologies, and best practices.

Skills and Professional Experience :

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proven creative and aesthetic capability to deliver interiors that are both visually compelling and functional.
Solid understanding of design principles including proportion, balance, color, and spatial harmony.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and standard productivity applications.
Practical experience using design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit Architecture, or similar software.
Basic understanding of applicable building codes, standards, and inspection requirements related to interior works.
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant professional experience in interior design
