Description

We are urgently looking for an Assistant Technical Manager to join our growing team.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement occupational and customer H&S policies and procedure.
• Develop and implement safety management system to integrate into the business operations.
• Produce faultfinding reports in accordance with primary stakeholders’ technical requirements.
• Develop emergency and contingency plans for management approval to deal with major and minor incidents i.e. accident, fire outbreak, construction accident and all cases affecting the safety of the facility.
• Ensure that the premises are fully compliant with all applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations.
• Liaise with relevant statutory organizations as required.
• Provide timely and accurate reports to senior management regarding H&S, maintenance and inspections.
• Hands on maintenance of tunnel and equipment as required.
• Hands on maintenance of building services as required.
• Work with understand LV and HV system in accordance with relevant blueprints.
• Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
• Carry out daily / weekly and periodic inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Plan preventive maintenance procedure and implement a plan to enforce necessary maintenance actions plan as required.
• Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.
• Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities. Allocate workload and supervise upkeep staff (custodians, janitors etc.).
• Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
• Log stored inventory and advice accordingly on replenishing budget and date.
• Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance.
• Manage and maintain relationships with contractors and service providers.
