Scaffolding Supervisor

• Planning & Supervision: Plan and supervise scaffolding activities across work fronts, reviewing design drawings, method statements, and technical specifications (such as OSHA, BS EN, TG20, or local standards).
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and assign tasks to scaffold foremen and scaffolders, monitoring daily productivity and enforcing safety protocols.
• Site Inspections & Tagging: Conduct on-site safety checks and manage the scaffolding tag system (e.g., green/yellow/red tags), often coordinating or co-signing inspections with certified inspectors.
• Material & Inventory Control: Inspect pipes, couplers, planks, and ladders before use, rejecting damaged components and tracking site inventory.
• Cross-Functional Liaison: Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) officers to align with work permits and schedule demands.
• Risk & Emergency Management: Identify working-at-height hazards, conduct toolbox talks, enforce fall protection, and lead emergency response related to scaffolding operations.
