Description

We require a Assistant to Finance Manager urgently. One who has worked as an Accountant for 5 years minimum in Bahrain can apply through email or WhatsApp. Calls are strictly prohibited in directly or in WhatsApp. Candidate must have below mentioned knowledge:
Financial Management and Budgeting
1. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for production, operations, and overhead expenses.
2. Monitor production costs and analyze variances between budgeted and actual costs.
3. Support the Finance Manager in maintaining cost-effectiveness by identifying areas of waste or inefficiency in manufacturing operations.

Cost Accounting and Analysis
4. Assist in calculating production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead allocations.
5. Monitor and analyze inventory costs and maintain accurate valuation of inventory levels.
6. Collaborate with production and procurement teams to optimize costs and improve profitability.

Accounting and Compliance
7. Reconcile production-related accounts, including raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and
finished goods.
8. Ensure accurate posting of transactions related to manufacturing activities in the general ledger.
9. Support in the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
10. Prepare documents and assist with audits, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory
requirements.

Inventory and Asset Management
11. Assist in tracking and managing fixed assets, including machinery and equipment depreciation
schedules.
12. Monitor raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory levels to ensure alignment with
financial records.
13. Work closely with the production and warehouse teams to ensure accurate reporting of
inventory movement.

Reporting and Performance Analysis
14. Generate financial reports highlighting key manufacturing performance metrics, such as cost per
unit, scrap rates, and production efficiency.
15. Provide analysis on profit margins and suggest strategies to enhance profitability.
16. Prepare reports on factory overheads and utilities, highlighting trends or anomalies.

Cash Flow and Expense Monitoring
17. Assist in monitoring cash flow related to production and procurement activities.
18. Ensure timely payments to suppliers and contractors and proper record-keeping for all
transactions.
19. Support the Finance Manager in reviewing expense reports and identifying opportunities for cost
savings.

Coordination and Administrative Support
20. Act as a liaison between the finance department and production/operations teams to ensure
seamless communication.
21. Maintain proper documentation of all manufacturing-related financial records.
22. Assist the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial projects, including system implementations or
process improvements.
EDUCATION:
1. Minimum Bachelors Degree in Finance or Business Accounts.
2. Proven Skills to work in manufacturing industries.
3. We will give preference to one who has professional certification.
