Description

Skills Required:
• Install stairlifts/Platform lift in residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are securely fitted and comply with safety standards.
• Perform initial testing to confirm proper functionality after installation.
• Strong technical knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and electronic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for both electrical and mechanical.
• Good communication skills with the supplier, management and customer.
• Be available for emergency call-outs, especially for urgent repairs and troubleshooting.
• Prioritize critical issues to minimize downtime for customers who rely on the stairlift.
• Ensure all tools and equipment used comply with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate service records, including details of repairs, parts replaced, and safety checks performed.
• Provide clear instructions to customers on how to use and maintain their stairlift safely.
• Respond to customer complaints or breakdown calls and offer prompt solutions.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on stairlifts, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of mechanical and electrical components.
• Ensure the stairlift/Platform meets safety regulations and standards during every service visit.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and resolve any potential hazards.
