Mechanical Engineer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead and oversee mechanical engineering works, including HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design review, system modifications, and ensuring smooth operations at construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise Mechanical Engineering Works (Plumbing, Firefighting, and HVAC) at construction sites.
• Oversee and conduct reviews of design and site measurements.
• Develop and review final designs and make necessary modifications for HVAC ductwork layouts.
• Design mechanical systems for commercial and residential construction projects.
• Manage teams of Technicians, Consultants, Clients, Main Contractors & Subcontractors.
• Ensure project execution aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, specifically in the construction field.
• Experience in HVAC design, estimation, and project execution.
• Professional Engineering License (CRPEP preferred).
• Proficiency in 2D engineering design tools such as AutoCAD, ProE, or others.
• Strong understanding of HVAC Systems, Plumbing, Drainage, and Firefighting systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple stakeholders.
Skills:
• Expertise in estimation, change order preparation, and verification of bills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the design, planning, scheduling, erection, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
