The Accounts Assistant (Payroll) will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources and Payroll department. This role involves a variety of tasks, including data entry, recordkeeping, and assisting with payroll processing.

Job Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing:
o Assist with data entry and verification of payroll information.
o Process payroll changes, such as new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
o Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and regulations.

• HR Administration:
o Maintain employee records, including personnel files and employment contracts.
o Assist with onboarding new hires and offboarding departing employees.
o Update employee information in the HR database.
o Prepare and maintain employee benefit documentation.

• Data Entry:
o Accurately enter data into HR and payroll systems.
o Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
• Recordkeeping:
o Organize and maintain employee files and records.
o Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
• General Administrative Tasks:
o Answer phone calls and emails from employees and managers.
o Schedule appointments and meetings.
o Assist with various HR projects and initiatives.

Experience Required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in payroll administration.

Education Level
• High school or equivalent.
• Associate's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.

License/ Certifications/ Trainings
• NA

IT/ Software Proficiency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Personal Attributes
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience with payroll software.
• Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
• Experience with HRMS systems.
