Description

Diversified Business Group in Kingdom of Bahrain, looking for a Legal Counsel with a minimum of 6 years of Experience in corporate law, legal compliance, and contract management.

Preferable candidates with master’s degree in law and currently residing in Bahrain

• Create and implement legal strategies to protect the company’s interests.
• Lead audits and compliance programs, ensuring legal services align with corporate goals.
• Maintain interactions with governmental bodies and legislators.
• Oversee a team of legal consultants and department members.
• Analyze, negotiate, and draft contracts and legal documents; provide clear recommendations.
• Offer guidance on various legal issues, including government & Corporate contracts.
• Participate in negotiations and drafting meeting minutes.
• Advise on tasks for outside counsel and mitigate legal risks.
• Ensure adherence to laws and regulations, identifying compliance issues and solutions.
• Advise on employment agreements and related legal issues.
• Collaborate with business partners and government representatives.
• Support and monitor outside counsel performance, ensuring cost efficiency.
• Assist legal counsel in court and arbitration proceedings, reviewing claims as needed.

The ideal candidate must have knowledge of corporate governance, fiscal law, and government contracts. Must have good communication skills. Previous experience in similar profile is strongly preferred.
