IT Systems, Network, and Cloud Administrator
Job Description
- The candidate will report to the Head of IT directly and to the Senior Management indi-rectly
- Maintain and administer local and enterprise network environments
- Server patching and monitoring
- Troubleshooting network issues
- Firewall and troubleshooting – LAN/WAN routers
- Capacity planning and providing recommendations to improve systems and network con-figurations
- Oversee IT support for onsite and remote users - hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies
- Manage and maintain virtual computing environments [Hyper-V, Oracle VirtualBox]
- Administer Linux [RHEL/CentOS 5/6/7, Ubuntu, Fedora] & Windows [2008/2012,2016,2022] servers and server environments
- Installation, Configuration & Administration of RDBS Database (MySQL and MS SQL)
- Install, configure, manage, and monitor Windows, Linux, and Virtual Servers
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy configuration and administration.
- Experience working with VoIP Systems and IP Phones preferably Grand stream.
- Experience with backup solutions, preferably Windows Image Backup and Ease US Todo Backup etc.
- Familiarity and experience with CCTV and IP camera installation and configuration.
- Experience of working and Maintaining Time & Attendance hardware, software, devices.
- Experience of working and Maintaining Mac OS and Mac devices.
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
- Implement and optimize cloud services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, to support business operations.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect data and infrastructure in the cloud environment.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reli-ability.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to cloud infra-structure and operations.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing and IT admin-istration.
- Develops and implements production strategies to maximize all available resources to maintain production cost, delivery time and quality.
- Perform routine system/ infrastructure maintenance
- Ensure the documenting of processes
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure architecture and recommend solutions
- Website hosting and domain configuration and maintenance, local server and cloud serv-er.
- Business applications (Third party software’s)
Desired Qualifications
- Strong change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change
- Solid understanding of the company's infrastructure and system interdependencies
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in networking technologies such as firewalls, routers, managed switches, etc.
- Information Technologies, Operations
- Demonstrated experience with security related technologies such as intrusion detection and prevention, data loss prevention, security event management, vulnerability man-agement, end point security, anti-virus, firewalls and encryption.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and log management tools and solutions.
- Experience working with all Microsoft Windows Server versions above 2008 R2
- Strong system administration experience (Windows and Linux) including certification or equivalent experience with emphasis on deployment and troubleshooting
- Experience in supporting 24x7 IT operations preferred.
- Network and/or security certification a plus.
- Experience with Office365 a plus.
Education and Work Experience
- Preferably bachelor’s degree in IT or equal experience
- Minimum of three to four years of experience in IT Management
