Roles & Responsibilities

The fundamental role of an auditor is defined as "reporting on whether the annual accounts show 'a true and fair view' of the company's financial activity and position to its shareholders."

Auditing affects all businesses and by being an auditor you will have the opportunity to take a deep dive into the inner workings across a variety of industries. As a Junior/Senior Auditor you shall be responsible for assisting in the audit of financial statements, conducting internal control reviews, and performing various other auditing tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 2-3 years of relevant experience to further develop their auditing skills and contribute to our reputable firm.

Responsibilities:

• Verify the relevant documents and confirm that the company's record of its cash balances
agrees with the bank statements.
• Verify that the company owns the fixed assets with relevant documents, its accounts exist and
that these are recorded at the correct value.
• Ensuring that the list of company suppliers and customers is complete and assist in obtaining
balance confirmation letters.
• Assist in the audit of clients' financial statements and prepare working papers.
• Attending for stock-in-trade verification to observe the company's methods for recording stock
and test-counting a sample
• Conduct internal control reviews and assess compliance with established policies and
procedures.
• Participate in the planning and execution of audit engagements.
• Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures to identify potential issues or
irregularities.
• Assist in drafting audit reports and communicate findings to senior auditors and clients.
• Stay updated with the latest auditing standards and regulations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Semi-qualified CA / ICWA / Postgraduate/ bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in auditing, preferably in a reputable audit firm
• Strong knowledge of auditing principles, techniques, and standards
• Proficiency in using auditing software and MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Stress resistance
• Commitment to providing high quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines
