Description

Primary Job Responsibilities
• Set up and operate bending and punching machines according to blueprints, job specifications, and established procedures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders to determine bending and punching requirements
• Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and punches for the job
• Position, secure, and feed metal sheets or strips into the machines
• Operate machines to bend, punch, form, and cut metal components according to specifications
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy, dimensions, and quality using measuring tools and gauges
• Identify and resolve minor machine malfunctions
• Perform routine maintenance on assigned machines, ensuring cleanliness and proper lubrication
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

Position Type – Permanent

Experience Expected
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating bending and punching machines
• Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
• Understanding of metalworking principles and fabrication processes
• Strong knowledge of safe machine operation practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and use measuring tools

Education Level
• High school diploma or equivalent

License/ Certifications/ Trainings
• ITI

IT/ Software Proficiency
• NA

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills quickly
• Ability to work independently and troubleshoot minor machine issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy objects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy environment
