Our well-established auto repair shop is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. If you have a strong background in accounting and a keen interest in the automotive sector, this could be the perfect role for you.

Position: Accountant

Responsibilities:

- Manage all financial aspects of the auto repair shop, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Perform regular financial analysis and reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to the management team.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Develop and implement effective financial controls and processes to safeguard the company's assets.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies or irregularities.
- Monitor inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) to ensure accurate valuation and cost control.
- Provide financial guidance and support to the management team, assisting with decision-making and strategic planning.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in an auto repair shop or a similar industry.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Knowledge with ERP and Odoo Accounting System
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
- Familiarity with tax regulations VAT, LMRA, SIO and reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
