Company in Paints/Construction sector is looking for a qualified Purchasing Officer:-

Responsibilities:-
> Plan, coordinate, and monitor the purchase and delivery of materials and services from suppliers and vendors
> Negotiate contracts and prices with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
> Maintain and update records of purchase orders, invoices, receipts, and inventory
> Coordinate with internal departments such as production, quality control, finance, and sales to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
> Resolve any issues or problems that may arise during the purchase and logistics process
> Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies regarding procurement and logistics

Candidate Profile:-
> Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or related field
> At least 3 years of experience in purchase and logistics management, preferably in the paints or chemical industry
> Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
> Knowledge of international trade, customs, and shipping procedures
> Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
> Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
