Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations
- Conduct risk assessments and inspections to identify potential hazards
- Train and educate employees on safety protocols and best practices
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure safety measures are implemented on construction sites
- Maintain accurate safety records and prepare reports on safety performance

Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks
- NEBOSH or equivalent certification is preferred
