Roles & Responsibilities
• To ensure that the administration of contracts by projects is carried out following the company policies and procedures.
• To monitor the performance of awarded contractors/subcontracts, checking, and agreeing on the accuracy of monthly payment applications.
• Close out of the final account, prepare final payment certificate, and release of bank guarantees.
• To formulate change orders/variations to existing contractors/subcontracts for changes in scope and/or pricing.
• Participates in preparing budgets and current estimates.
• To assist in the review and settlement of any claims as may be raised by contractors.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and forecast cost plans for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, plant, and overheads, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cost-related documents and prepare regular cost reports for project stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile
• Minimum 6 to 10 years of experience in project QS.
• Strong background in civil engineering
• Technical and practical knowledge of all phases of contract development, award, administration, and close-out relating to a multi-discipline construction project.
• Strong working knowledge of administering MOW/FIDIC and other similar contract formulation standards.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Excel & AutoCAD
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
