Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heavy construction equipment and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operations at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy construction equipment and machinery.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in heavy equipment.

Inspect and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.

Repair and maintain equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, JCBs, cranes, forklifts, and other construction machinery.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.

Replace damaged or worn-out parts and components when required.

Respond to equipment breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs when necessary.

Maintain service records, maintenance reports, and repair logs.

Ensure all equipment is operating safely and in compliance with site safety standards.

Coordinate with equipment operators and site supervisors regarding machinery maintenance and repair requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic in the construction industry is required.

Strong knowledge of heavy construction equipment, diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components.

Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining excavators, JCBs, bulldozers, loaders, and other heavy machinery.

Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems.

Technical or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field is an advantage.

Ability to work independently and handle equipment repairs under pressure.

Must be currently available in Bahrain.
