About Poullaides Construction Company:
Poullaides Construction Company (PCC) is an established regional contractor with a strong track record delivering industrial and utilities projects across Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. PCC operates at a scale where leadership decisions have direct and meaningful impact on project outcomes and business performance. The Group is in an active phase of growth — expanding its footprint across the GCC, pursuing larger and more complex contracts, and investing in the commercial and operational capability needed to support that ambition. This is a business where the right leader will have genuine influence, not simply manage a function.
What we are looking for:
The Marketing Executive will take ownership of PCC’s marketing activities, brand identity and corporate communications, ensuring a consistently high standard across all channels and materials. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing purposeful marketing initiatives that strengthen PCC’s reputation, enhance market visibility and support business growth. This is a strategic and hands-on role that extends well beyond social media management, requiring creativity, initiative and a results-driven approach. The position offers a clear opportunity for professional development, with the expectation of progressing into a Marketing Manager role.
Roles & Responsibilities
Plan all marketing activity (campaigns, content, tender support, events, exhibitions, social and digital) in a monthly and quarterly calendar and agree it with the Executive Director.
Plan each activity for impact: set a clear objective, audience, channel and measure of success, and review the results afterwards to improve the next plan.
Report to the Executive Director every month on progress against the plan, digital performance, competitor activity, campaign results and the events worth attending in the following month.
Create the marketing collateral: company profile, brochures, presentations, case studies, newsletters and event material, in English and Arabic, briefing designers, photographers and video producers where needed.
Prepare the marketing content for tenders and pre-qualification submissions, working with Tendering and Estimation.
Write and publish content for the website, LinkedIn and other approved social channels, and keep them up to date and visible in search engines.
Set up and monitor paid advertising within the approved budget, and track return.
Maintain a library of project case studies, photography, video and approved company data, and coordinate photography and video at project sites, following PCC’s HSE requirements.
Maintain PCC’s profiles and listings on client portals, partner and supplier websites and business directories.
Identify exhibitions, networking events, seminars and sponsorship opportunities that raise PCC’s visibility, and plan PCC’s attendance at those approved.
Own PCC’s brand image: keep it consistent across all material and channels, apply brand standards to everything before release, and draft press releases, award submissions and media material for approval.
Monitor competitors, market trends and client feedback, record enquiries in a CRM and report the opportunities that marketing activity produces.
Obtain quotations, coordinate agencies and suppliers, order promotional items and keep a record of marketing assets held in custody.
Support other departments, such as HR, QHSE and Business Development, with presentations, campaigns and employee events.
Carry out other reasonable duties required by the Executive Director.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field. All education certificates must be attested or authorised as required by the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Experience: At least 3 years’ marketing experience. Experience in construction, engineering, real estate or another B2B sector is an advantage.
Language: Fluent written and spoken English. Fluent English and Arabic preferred.
Skills and competencies: Strong written communication and content creation. Planning and organisation. Social media and digital tools. Basic design tools (such as Canva or Adobe). Attention to detail. Creativity. Good time management. Initiative and willingness to learn. Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions and Progression: Mainly office-based, with regular visits to project sites for photography and client visits, which follow PCC’s HSE requirements including site induction and personal protective equipment. Occasional travel within the GCC may be required. Extended hours may be needed at tender deadlines.
Progression to Marketing Manager is considered after at least two years in the role, based on performance against the agreed objectives, delivery of marketing plans and the Executive Director’s recommendation.
