Description

Role purpose
Runs the factory floor every shift so pickles are produced on plan, to recipe, safely, and on time.

Responsibilities
• Plan daily shifts from the weekly production plan and hit the output target
• Make sure every batch follows the approved recipe and batch records are complete
• Lead the team through the Production Team Leader: tasks, attendance, training
• Work with QC on quality checks; stop the line or hold product if there is a risk
• Receive deliveries as per the Receiving SOP: check documents against the PO, sign off with QC, post the GRN the same shift
• Keep hygiene, cleaning and safety standards on the floor every shift
• Report daily to the Production Manager: output, waste, downtime, issues

• Output vs plan
• Recipe compliance and quality holds
• Waste and downtime
• Hygiene, safety and audit results

Requirements
• Diploma or degree in food technology or a related field
• 5+ years in food manufacturing, at least 2 years supervising a team
• Comfortable with an ERP system and Excel
• English required; Arabic or Hindi/Malayalam a plus
