JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT (LOCAL HIRE)

Location: Hamad Town, Bahrain
Industry: Retail / Hypermarket

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Accountant with extensive experience in the high-volume retail sector.

Key responsibilities:
• Daily Cash & POS Reconciliation
• Process supplier invoices, cross-check POs with delivery notes, and handle vendor accounts
• Assist senior accountants in maintaining accurate records for VAT compliance and financial reporting
• Work closely with the warehouse and showroom teams to monitor stock movements, shrinkage, and inventory adjustments.

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of progressive accounting experience within Bahrain, with a strong preference for candidates coming from major retail hypermarkets.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and hands-on experience using retail ERP software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, or specialized retail management software).
• Local hire only. Open to expat applicants currently living in Bahrain who are available for immediate or short-notice visa transfer.
• Strong understanding of high-transaction volume retail accounting, excellent communication skills in English, and strong numerical aptitude.
