Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Construction Supervisor to supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities at project sites. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in building construction, site supervision, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and construction safety.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily civil construction activities on site.
Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
Supervise site workers, foremen, subcontractors, and other construction teams.
Monitor manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and work productivity.
Read and interpret civil, structural, architectural, and construction drawings.
Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors, and other site teams.
Supervise civil works including concrete, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, excavation, foundations, and finishing works.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and quality standards.
Identify site issues, delays, and construction problems and coordinate corrective actions.
Monitor daily progress and prepare daily/weekly site and manpower reports.
Ensure materials and equipment are available as required for site activities.
Coordinate inspections, testing, snagging, rectification, and handover activities.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, and site safety procedures.
Maintain proper site records, work progress updates, and documentation.
Support the project team in achieving planned construction targets and deadlines.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field is preferred.
3–5+ years of experience in civil construction/site supervision.
Strong hands-on experience in building construction projects.
Experience with villas, residential, commercial, or high-rise construction is an advantage.
Good knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and site procedures.
Ability to read and understand construction and technical drawings.
Strong experience in supervising workers, foremen, and subcontractors.
Good knowledge of quality control and construction safety requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good command of English.
Bahrain construction experience is preferred.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
