Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our construction team in Bahrain. The successful candidate will be responsible for site surveying, setting out, leveling, measurements, and ensuring construction works are executed accurately according to approved drawings and specifications. These are standard responsibilities reflected in current Bahrain construction surveyor postings.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct land, topographical, and construction surveys at project sites.
Perform accurate setting out, leveling, alignment, and positioning of construction works.
Establish and maintain benchmarks, coordinates, control points, and reference points.
Operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying equipment.
Check measurements, elevations, dimensions, and coordinates against approved drawings.
Carry out setting-out works for foundations, columns, slabs, roads, drainage, utilities, and excavation.
Read and interpret architectural, structural, civil, and engineering drawings.
Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, subcontractors, and construction teams.
Monitor works to ensure correct levels, alignment, dimensions, and tolerances.
Prepare survey reports, field notes, calculations, and as-built survey data.
Identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions and report them to the concerned engineer.
Maintain proper survey records and ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant construction surveying experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS.
Good knowledge of setting out, leveling, coordinates, benchmarks, and site measurements.
Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing is an advantage.
Experience in building, villa, commercial, high-rise, or civil construction projects is preferred.
Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Must be locally available in Bahrain.
Immediate joiner is preferred.
Previous Bahrain/GCC construction experience is highly preferred.
