Role Overview
We are looking for a sharp Estimation & Financial Projection Specialist to bridge our technical presales and finance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating commercial tender documents (RFPs/RFQs), calculating accurate cost estimations for hardware deployments and maintenance contracts, and building multi-year revenue and margin projections.
Key Responsibilities
• Commercial Proposal & Tender Estimation: Review technical scopes of work, BOQs, and tender requirements to generate detailed cost estimates, margin calculations, and final commercial pricing structures for corporate client proposals.
• Service Contract Cost Modelling: Build accurate predictive financial models for long-term maintenance agreements (FSMA/SLA), including hardware depreciation, spare parts forecasting, technician lab-hour rates, and recurring consumables (e.g., printer/toner fleet consumption models).
• Vendor Cost & Margin Optimization: Coordinate with principal vendors (Dell, HP, Lenovo, APC, etc.) and distributors to secure competitive deal registrations, project back-line pricing, and volume rebates to protect profit margins.
• Financial Projection & Pipeline Analysis: Produce project-level cash flow forecasts, revenue recognition schedules, and gross margin projections for enterprise account teams and management review.
• Variation & Risk Assessment: Analyse commercial risk in prospective deals, assess potential cost overruns, and calculate pricing for scope variation requests (VOs) during active project delivery.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Experience: 5+ years in cost estimation, commercial proposal pricing, or presales financial modelling within the GCC IT hardware, enterprise software, or systems integration market.
• Technical & Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of enterprise IT hardware pricing (servers, storage, PCs, networking, UPS systems) and multi-year IT service contract pricing structures.
• Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex financial formulas, scenario modelling, pivot tables) and ERP systems
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Manama, Bahrain.
