Role Description The Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Manama, providing professional massage services to clients in a clinical home health care setting. Day-to-day tasks include assessing clients’ needs, recommending appropriate massage techniques, and delivering therapeutic and body massage treatments to support pain relief, stress reduction, and overall well-being. The Massage Therapist will maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, follow all health and safety protocols, and document client sessions accurately. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educating clients on self-care and stress management techniques, and delivering courteous, responsive customer service.

Qualifications

Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build trust with clients.
Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques, with a focus on promoting relaxation, pain relief, and improved mobility.
Experience with specific modalities such as body massage and Shiatsu, and the ability to tailor treatments to client needs.
Knowledge of stress management practices and the ability to integrate them into treatment plans and client education.
Relevant massage therapy certification or diploma from an accredited institution.
Understanding of basic anatomy and physiology, and adherence to professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
Ability to work on-site in Manama, manage a full-time schedule, and maintain accurate treatment records.
Previous experience in a clinical, spa, or wellness setting is an advantage; familiarity with home health care environments is a plus.
