Arab Organizers is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating, planning, coordinating, and executing structural steel projects from tender stage through fabrication and site installation.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of structural steel construction, be capable of reading engineering drawings, preparing accurate cost estimates, coordinating fabrication, and supervising site erection.

Key Responsibilities

* Review structural steel, architectural, and civil drawings.
* Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
* Estimate project costs, including:
* Structural steel fabrication
* Painting and galvanizing
* Transportation and logistics
* Steel erection and installation
* Civil works and foundations
* Equipment and manpower
* Prepare technical and commercial quotations.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and contractors.
* Issue fabrication requirements and cutting lists to the workshop.
* Coordinate procurement of steel materials and project components.
* Plan project schedules and monitor fabrication and installation progress.
* Supervise steel erection activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and safety standards.
* Attend site meetings and provide technical support during project execution.
* Monitor project costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with applicable structural design codes and quality standards.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel engineering.
* Experience in steel fabrication and site erection is essential.
* Experience in estimating structural steel projects is required.

Required Skills

* Excellent understanding of structural steel construction.
* Ability to read and interpret structural and shop drawings.
* Strong knowledge of steel connections and fabrication methods.
* Experience preparing BOQs and cost estimates.
* Knowledge of reinforced concrete foundations for steel structures.
* Strong project coordination and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Software Requirements

* AutoCAD
* Tekla Structures (preferred)
* STAAD.Pro or ETABS (preferred)
* Microsoft Excel (advanced)
* Microsoft Project or Primavera (preferred)

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in the following will be given preference:

* Steel warehouses
* Industrial buildings
* Sports halls
* Aircraft hangars
* Steel sheds
* Canopies
* Padel court structures
* Large-span steel structures
* Steel domes
