Role Description The Food Runner is a full-time, on-site role based in Bahrain, responsible for supporting the restaurant team in delivering timely and accurate food service to guests. Day-to-day tasks include running dishes from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring food items are presented according to standards, and coordinating with servers and kitchen staff to maintain smooth service flow. The Food Runner helps verify order accuracy, responds to guest requests when needed, and maintains cleanliness and organization in service stations. This role also assists in restocking supplies, supporting the expeditor, and upholding hygiene, safety, and quality standards throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with expeditor and back-of-house support tasks to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and other team members.
Customer service skills with a focus on courteous, attentive, and professional interaction with guests.
Knowledge of food service and food & beverage operations, including basic menu items and service standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and carry multiple plates or trays safely.
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene practices.
Prior experience in restaurants or hospitality is preferred but not required; on-the-job training may be provided.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, and willingness to be part of a collaborative team.
