Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing Volvo and Renault trucks. The successful candidate will assist in diagnosing mechanical issues, carrying out preventive maintenance, and ensuring all vehicles operate safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical faults on Volvo and Renault diesel trucks.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacement, brake servicing, and general inspections.
• Assist with engine repairs, clutch repairs, gearbox repairs, and suspension work.
• Troubleshoot and repair engine management systems, AdBlue systems, and Electronic Control Units (ECUs).
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and work completed.
• Ensure all work is carried out according to company safety procedures and workshop standards.
• Report major faults to the supervisor and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably with Volvo, Renault, or other heavy vehicles.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, electronics, and vehicle diagnostics.
• Ability to identify and solve mechanical problems efficiently and accurately.
• Familiarity with workshop tools, diagnostic scanners, and mechanical equipment.
• Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
