About the Role:
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Barge Crew members to support marine construction, dredging, and offshore operations. Barge crew members are responsible for deck operations, mooring, cargo handling, maintenance, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of barges under the supervision of the Barge Supervisor or Master.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in mooring and unmooring operations during berthing and unberthing

Handle mooring lines, ropes, and fenders during vessel operations

Assist in loading, securing, and unloading cargo (rock, aggregates, equipment, etc.)

Monitor barge draft and ballast levels during loading and discharge

Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of barge deck, hatches, and equipment

Carry out routine maintenance including painting, greasing, and minor repairs

Operate deck machinery such as winches, capstans, and hydraulic systems under supervision

Stand watch and maintain lookout duties as required

Assist in anchoring and anchoring operations

Maintain cleanliness of crew quarters and common areas

Follow all safety instructions including use of PPE, life jackets, and safety harnesses

Participate in toolbox talks and safety drills

Report any damage, defects, or incidents to the Barge Supervisor immediately

Assist in cargo handling operations using cranes or excavators when required

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
