1. Demi Chef de Partie (DCDP)
2. Commis 1
Key Responsibilities:
For Demi Chef de Partie:
• Take charge of a specific kitchen section and manage daily prep and service.
• Assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in creating dishes and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff (Commis) in daily operations.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene (HACCP) standards.
For Commis 1:
• Accurately prepare ingredients (mise en place) for service according to station requirements.
• Cook and plate dishes under the guidance of the section chef.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations, walk-ins, and storage areas.
• Properly store and handle food items to minimize wastage.
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Skills: Strong knife skills, knowledge of diverse culinary techniques, and a solid understanding of kitchen safety regulations.
• Attributes: A positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent teamwork skills.
• Language: Good communication skills in English.
• Availability: Candidates currently residing in Bahrain with a transferable visa are preferred.
