Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
-Handle accounts payable and receivable
-Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
-Ensure compliance with Bahrain financial regulations and VAT requirements
-Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
-Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience (preferably in Bahrain/GCC)
-Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks)
-Familiarity with VAT regulations in Bahrain
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
-Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:
-Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
-Experience in construction, engineering, or water treatment industry is a plus
