PUMP TECHNICIAN REQUIRED – BAHRAIN

We are looking for an experienced Pump Technician to join our maintenance team in Bahrain.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in pump maintenance and repair.
Experience with centrifugal pumps, multistage pumps, booster pumps and water pumps.
Experience with vertical multistage pumps will be an advantage.
Ability to independently dismantle, inspect, repair, assemble and test pumps.
Good knowledge of mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, sleeves, impellers and couplings.
Experience in pump alignment and coupling adjustment.
Ability to identify and troubleshoot vibration, leakage, noise, overheating, low pressure and low flow problems.
Experience with pump replacement, installation and commissioning.
Ability to work at customer sites and carry out maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Basic knowledge of pump performance, pressure, flow and operating conditions.
Experience working with electric motor-driven pumps will be an advantage.
Must be able to work independently and follow safety and quality procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs of pumps.
Dismantle and inspect pumps and identify damaged components.
Replace mechanical seals, bearings, shafts, sleeves and other components as required.
Carry out pump assembly, alignment and testing.
Attend customer sites for pump troubleshooting and repair.
Maintain proper service records and report technical findings.
