Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Location: Bahrain

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day logistics and documentation activities. The role involves managing shipment data, coordinating with customers and suppliers, ensuring timely documentation, and supporting billing and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and verify shipment data and documentation within required timelines
Prepare and validate manifests and other shipping-related documents
Coordinate timely dispatch of arrival notifications, pre-alerts, and billing documentation
Liaise with shipping lines, agents, and customers to ensure smooth delivery order release and shipment clearance
Monitor shipment status and proactively communicate updates or discrepancies
Support billing processes by ensuring all documents (PODs, invoices) are complete and submitted on time
Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
Assist in rate sourcing, pricing comparison, and preparation of customer quotations
Contribute to team performance through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance operational and market knowledge

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
2–4 years of experience in shipping/logistics operations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
