Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail‑oriented Senior Accountant who is currently residing in Bahrain and available for immediate joining. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards (IFRS / Bahrain regulations), and supporting financial reporting and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities
Manage full‑cycle accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR) and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting.
Ensure compliance with IFRS and Bahrain VAT/tax regulations.
Assist with internal and external audits and statutory filing requirements.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasts.
Review journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
Identify opportunities for process improvement within accounting functions.
Coordinate with management for financial planning and controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably as Senior Accountant.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Bahrain financial regulations.
Proficiency with accounting software/ERP systems and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
Currently based in Bahrain and ready to start immediately.
Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
