**Job Title:** Accountant (Odoo ERP) – Retail Operations

**Location:** Bahrain
**Industry:** Homeware Retail (4 Branches)

**Job Description:**
We are looking for a **qualified Accountant with strong experience in Odoo ERP** to manage the full accounting operations of a **homeware retail business with 4 branches**. The candidate must be capable of handling daily accounting activities, monitoring inventory transactions, ensuring compliance with **VAT regulations and government requirements in Bahrain**, and resolving accounting or system-related issues efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Manage **all accounting activities using Odoo ERP**, including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries.
* Handle **accounts payable and receivable** and follow up on outstanding balances.
* Perform **bank reconciliation** and monitor all financial transactions.
* Prepare **financial reports, profit & loss statements, and financial analysis**.
* Ensure **accurate VAT calculation, filing, and compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations**.
* Maintain proper **documentation for VAT records and tax invoices** according to legal requirements.
* Ensure compliance with **government regulations and financial reporting requirements in Bahrain**.
* Monitor **POS sales, cash, and card transactions** from all branches.
* Supervise and reconcile **inventory movements and stock valuation** in coordination with store staff.
* Identify and **resolve discrepancies or system issues in Odoo ERP**.
* Support **monthly and yearly financial closing procedures**.
* Maintain organized **records, invoices, and accounting documentation**.
* Assist in improving **coordination between accounting, inventory, and retail operations**.
* Perform additional administrative or operational tasks required for a **multi-branch retail environment**.

**Requirements:**

* Proven experience working with **Odoo ERP (Accounting, POS, and Inventory modules)**.
* Strong knowledge of **VAT regulations in Bahrain** and tax filing procedures.
* Experience in **retail accounting**, preferably with **multi-branch operations**.
* Good understanding of **inventory management and stock control**.
* Ability to **identify and solve accounting discrepancies and operational issues**.
* Strong **organizational and analytical skills** with attention to detail.
* Good knowledge of **Microsoft Excel and financial reporting**.
* Ability to work independently and handle **high transaction volumes**.
